David Sinclair Photographer
Education:
I've earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western
Maryland College, triple majoring in Business Administration,
Economics, and Graphic Design, and
earning Departmental Honors in Art.
Though I have many areas of interest, Photography is my passion because of its potential as a vehicle of expression. My transition toward photography began at Western Maryland College, new years eve 1996. An overpowering fire gutted the Old Gill gymnasium, and through a phone call a friend woke me with the news. I rushed to photograph the blaze with my Grandfather's Bell & Howell 35mm. Following the disaster, I shared the images with the college and subsequently began shooting with the yearbook for academic credit. That was my renaissance; from there I began doing freelance work for the school's public information department. Sparked by tragedy, I continue my work as an independent photographer throughout the mid atlantic region to this day.
