David Sinclair Photographer
Education:
David has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western
Maryland College, triple majoring in Business Administration,
Economics, and Graphic Design, and
earning Departmental Honors in Art.
Photography is a passion for David because of its potential as a vehicle of expression. His transition toward photography began at Western Maryland College, New Years Eve 1996. A phone call from a close friend woke David with news that an overpowering fire was gutting the Old Gill gymnasium. He rushed to photograph the blaze with his Grandfather's Bell & Howell 35mm, which he recently inherited. Following the disaster, he shared the images with the college and subsequently began shooting with the yearbook for academic credit. This was a defining moment for David. From here he began doing freelance work for the school's public information department. Sparked by tragedy, David continues his work as an Independent Photographer throughout the mid Atlantic region today.
